Parental psychological counsultation and child psychoprophylaxis
Psychoprophylaxis — the implementation of preventive measures and the establishment of appropriate approaches during early childhood development (especially before the age of 6) aimed at preventing future psychological difficulties and mental disorders.
According to psychodynamic theories, including anthropoanalysis, the child is particularly vulnerable during the early developmental period (up to the age of 6) and is highly susceptible to psychological trauma. Within this context, character, basic beliefs, and representations are formed, as well as a pathological set, which subsequently determines the course of life and influences the likelihood of psychological difficulties and mental disorders.
Child Psychoprophylaxis further expands the scope of anthropoanalysis. Since the formation of a pathological set occurs before the age of six, the task involves its neutralization within this same developmental period.
It has been established that psychoprophylactic and psychohygienic measures can be successfully implemented by properly trained parents and caregivers.
The Psychophysiological Rehabilitation Center “Arsi” conducts consultations for parents, prospective parents, caregivers, and nannies regarding issues of child psychoprophylaxis.
The child psychoprophylaxis program has been developed by the organization under the leadership of its founder, Givi Merabishvili, based on Anthropoanalysis.
