About PsychoArsi
The Psychophysiological Rehabilitation Center “Arsi” was founded in 2000 by Givi Merabishvili, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist. His psychotherapeutic activities and research began in 1992 at the Psychotherapeutic Association “Mentsar”. In the late 90s, Givi Merabishvili formed the psychotherapeutic movement “Anthropoanalysis” and founded the Psychotherapeutic Center.
Since 2000, “Arsi”, together with its team, has been continuously engaged in psychotherapy activities and teaching psychotherapy. It is precisely Givi Merabishvili’s merit and achievement those successful clinical results and the team of psychotherapists that makes up “Arsi” today.
Today as well, the Psychophysiological Rehabilitation Center “Arsi” carries out psychotherapeutic and psychorehabilitative work with patients experiencing various types of psychological and psychosomatic difficulties. Psychotherapeutic work is conducted with children, adolescents, and adults alike. The organization also provides consultations for parents on issues of child psychoprophylaxis.
“Arsi” furthermore implements training in its psychotherapeutic methodology, “Anthropoanalysis”.
Anthropoanalysis, in its essence, is a psychodynamic, depth-psychological approach grounded in classical Psychoanalysis and set theory (psychology of attitude).
Since 2025, the director of the Psychophysiological Rehabilitation Center "Arsi" is Tamar Merabishvili, psychologist, psychotherapist, MSc, PhD.
In 2025, the Center "Arsi" became a member of the NUO (National Umbrella Organization), the representative body of the EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy) in Georgia; it has developed European standardized program for postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and invites those interested to study psychodynamic psychotherapy and anthropoanalysis.

In-depth training in psychodynamic and anthropoanalytic psychotherapy and training qualified, responsible, ethical psychotherapists.
